The University of Virginia has a long legacy of producing technology entrepreneurs who are leading the way in innovations from sustainable food production to health care at home and abroad. We’ve invited some of them to share the stories of their journeys from when they started here at UVA to where they are today. We will also introduce next steps that students who are just beginning their entrepreneurship journey can take to follow in the footsteps of UVA’s technology entrepreneur leaders. What makes the Manhattan Short Film Festival unique is that the audience will not only be watching and enjoying the films, but judging them as well. Each audience member will be handed a voting card upon entry and asked to vote for the one film they feel should win. Votes will be tallied at each participating cinema and submitted to festival headquarters where the winner will be announced in New York City!
