Aidan Turner (The Hobbit) stars as Ross Poldark, a redcoat who returned to Cornwall after battle to discover that his father was dead, his lands were ruined, and his true love was engaged to another. Season four begins in 1796. To defend Cornwall and those he loves from an empowered George, Ross must play the political game on a journey that takes him to the nation’s capital and into new perils.
